The Aleke series of fine art photography prints by Sejkko depicts ethereal visions of worlds that exists between reality and dreams. Each piece of the collection focuses on a single idea or emotion. Most pieces document universal concepts related to the meaning of ‘home’. Some other pieces explore individual and collective self-awareness in a constantly changing universe. Sejkko’s aesthetic style favours minimalism, where single, strong and vibrant elements exist in a subtle, often crystalline, background of pastel tones. Read more on Sejkko’s artistic statement.

Aleke fine art original prints are produced in limited editions, using the highest standard techniques for continuous tone photographic printing. Original editions of each piece are currently limited to 150 signed, numbered and certified C-type prints in Fuji Crystal Matt, FujiFlex or Kodak archival photographic papers.

The way Sejkko renders light in these photos makes it appear as an actual substance, something that sinks into the pores of his subjects, changing them in a deep, molecular way. One thinks of pleasant, light-headed days at the beach
